
Spotify starts rolling out audiobooks to more than 180 markets
Audiobooks coming to 750+ million Spotify users Four years after launching audiobooks in the U.S., and following a rather limited expansion into select countries in the years since, Spotify today announced that audiobooks are finally coming to more than 180 markets. As Spotify explained in a blog post, the rollout begins today and will continue through the end of 2026, expanding audiobook access from 22 markets to more than 180 and making the service available to more than 750 million people worldwide. Users in newly supported markets will have access to more than 350,000 titles, with additional catalogs available in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, and other languages.
