28일부터 8월 23일까지 제주민속자연사박물관 갤러리 벵디왓 부윤자 글, ‘정언유 선생-탐라별곡’. 조선시대 제주에 유배 온 문인과 제주를 다스린 목민관이 남긴 시문이 붓글씨로 되살아난다. 제주민속자연사박물관은 28일부터 다음 달 23일까지 갤러리 벵디왓에서 부윤자 작가의 서예전 ‘탐라의 숲을 걷다’를 개최한다. 전시는 방선문 마애명을 비롯한 조선시대 제주 사료에서 출발했다. 선비들이 제주의 풍경과 애환을 담아 남긴 한시와 문학 작품을 서예로 풀어낸 자리다. 전시장에는 이익태의 ‘탐라십경도’, 정언유의 ‘탐라별곡’, 김춘택의 ‘별사미인곡’, 이진유의 ‘속사미인곡’, 안조환의 ‘만언사’ 등 유배인과 목민관의 시문이 걸린다. 척박한 풍토 속에서 사람과 자연이 주고받은 교감을 글씨의 굵기와 여백으로 전한다. 관람객은 유배인이 품은 한(恨)과 목민관이 안았던 고뇌를 따라 읽으며 제주 문화의 역사성과 시대성을 함께 확인할 수 있다. 부윤자 작가는 소암 현중화와 여초 김응현 선생을 사사했다. 대한민국 미술대전 초대작가이며 옥조근정훈장을 받았고, 지금도 작품 활동을 이어가고 있다. 제주민속자연사박물관 관계자는 “조선시대 제주를 기록한 시문을 붓글씨로 마주하는 자리”라며 “도민과 관광객이 선인들의 숨결을 느끼고 제주 전통문화의 가치를 되새기길 바란다”고 말했다.
