Supermarket staple Pathmark returns to Long Island with new streamlined concept
Pathmark is returning to Long Island with a new streamlined grocery concept called Pathmark Daily, opening in East Meadow on Friday. The 28,000-square-foot store, operated by Allegiance Retail Services, aims to offer a faster, value-focused shopping experience with an emphasis on quality produce, meat, seafood, and essentials. The relaunch marks the first expansion of the Pathmark brand since its revival in 2019 after A&P's 2015 bankruptcy. Mike Said, who previously opened a Super Foodtown at the same location, will operate the new store.
