Telangana recorded its highest temperatures of the year on Monday (April 27, 2026) with several districts reeling under intense heatwave conditions. The temperatures breached 45℃ to reach 46℃ , a first this summer. A total of 12 districts recorded maximum temperatures between 45℃ and 46℃, as per Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather report. In the State capital, Charminar area recorded a maximum temperature of 42.5℃.Mendora in Nizamabad district emerged as the hottest location, registering a maximum temperature of 46℃.
