The power generated by these units will be procured by the State’s DISCOMs.According to official sources, four solar plants of 1 MW capacity each are being taken up in Errupalem and Kalluru mandals of Khammam district, and in Manuguru and Sujathanagar mandals of Bhadradri Kothagudem district. A trial run is underway at the Rajupalem plant in Yerrupalem mandal, while work is in progress in Chinnakorukondi village of Kalluru mandal.
