Texas elementary school teacher accused of sexually assaulting child as police search for more victims
A 46-year-old elementary school teacher, Cecilia Mueller, has been arrested in San Antonio, Texas, on charges of continuous sexual assault of a child, with authorities concerned there may be additional victims. The alleged abuse occurred during the 2016-17 school year when the victim was in her fifth-grade class at Lewis Elementary School. Police say the victim, now 20, reported inappropriate conversations, exposure to explicit content, and sexual acts, including incidents in a classroom closet. Mueller, who has taught in the Northside Independent School District since 2019, has been placed on leave as the investigation continues.
