The InSneider, who first reported the news, didn’t mention who Johnston will play but, at 30 years old, he sure seems just about the right age to potentially play Alex, the son of Rick O’Connell (Fraser) and Evy Carnahan (Weisz). That’s purely speculative, though. Maybe he’s the film’s villain or someone else entirely. It’s unclear.
