The New ‘Other Mommy’ Trailer Turns a Ball Pit Into an Ocean of Horror
The first trailer for Other Mommy was totally unnerving, giving us a peek at Jessica Chastain’s dual role as a regular human mother—and a creature who exactly resembles a regular human mother, except for her tendency toward very creepy behavior. Rob Savage, whose previous horror credits include Host and The Boogeyman, directs the Oscar-winning Chastain, with Arabella Olivia Clark (The Housemaid) playing the girl who realizes her mom’s doppelganger isn’t so “nice” after all. In fact, she has deeply malevolent intentions, and she’s not afraid to crash a kiddie play zone to try and get what she wants.
