This new app lets you root your Galaxy flagship without tripping Knox or unlocking the bootloader
Root My Galaxy is an open‑source Android app that uses the GhostLock Linux exploit to grant temporary root access on certain Samsung Galaxy flagship phones. The technique avoids triggering Samsung’s Knox security and does not require unlocking the bootloader. Currently the tool supports devices such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the upcoming Galaxy S25 series.
- ▪The app leverages the GhostLock Linux exploit to achieve a short‑lived root session without modifying the device’s firmware.
- ▪It bypasses Knox detection, meaning the device’s security flag remains unchanged after use.
- ▪Root My Galaxy works on select flagship models, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Galaxy S25 lineup.
- ▪The solution is open‑source, allowing the community to review and contribute to its code.
- ▪No bootloader unlocking is needed, reducing the risk of voiding warranties or bricking the device.
