The Seethaparpanallur police are investigating the suspected poisoning of pet dogs in which three animals died.Police said Durai, 42, of Uganthanpatti under Seethaparpanallur Police Station limits in the district has five pet dogs at his home. When one of the dogs of Durai had bitten the pet dog of Kumar of the same village two days ago, it triggered an argument between the two.When Durai saw his dogs frothing and lying on the ground without taking food, he took his pet animals to veterinarians, who suspected that the dogs might have been poisoned. While two dogs responded to treatment, three died.Based on a complaint from Durai, the Seethaparpanallur Police have registered a case and are investigating.
