Former Principal of Rangaraya Medical College A. Vishnu Vardhan took charge as Director of Medical Education (DME), at the DME office in Vijayawada on Friday.Dr. Vishnu Vardhan had, for the last one year, been serving as Principal and Additional DME (ADME). He had completed his MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, in 1987. In 1994, he had completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in anaesthesia from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, after which he joined Rangaraya Medical College as an Assistant Professor. He had 29 years of experience in various capacities in the government sector.After assuming charge in the presence of his family members, Dr. Vishnu Vardhan said he would work towards elevating medical education standards in line with the goals set by the State government.
