Warner Bros Unveils Title For ‘A Minecraft Movie’ Sequel
Warner Bros has announced the title for the sequel to the popular Minecraft movie, which will be called A Minecraft Movie: Squared. The film is set to be released on July 23, 2027, and will feature returning director Jared and a star-studded cast. Additionally, a contest called The Minecraft Movie Build Challenge has been launched for fans to participate in, with the chance to have their creations featured in the film.

Before Warner Bros Motion Picture Co-Chair Michael De Luca takes the stage at the Produced By conference this afternoon, the studio has unveiled that the title to the Legendary co-production Minecraft sequel is A Minecraft Movie: Squared. As previously announced Jared is returning to helm with stars Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry, Jennifer Coolidge and Kirsten Dunst joining. The movie which came close to making $1 billion worldwide last year gets credit for this whole dynamiting of the under 25 demo/YouTube craving generation to the box office. Before Backrooms shorts, Minecraft and Roblox games were the thing, there was Minecraft which has a wonderfully ferocious fanbase.
