Western Ganga theme chosen for Lalbagh’s Independence Day flower show
For the upcoming flower show to mark the 79th Independence Day on August 15, the Horticulture Department has chosen the rule of the Western Ganga dynasty as the theme for the show at Lalbagh.Speaking to The Hindu, M. Jagadeesh, Joint Director, Horticulture Department (Parks and Gardens), said, “We had sent around 20 options to the concerned officials and the Chief Minister’s Office.
