For more than six decades now, Basavanagudi in Bengaluru has played host to the Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava for the occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi. This year, the festival marks its 63rd edition. Organised by Sri Vidyaranya Yuvaka Sangha, the festival is not just a religious one, but also a cultural gathering. The BGU will be hosted at the APS college grounds, with performances and food stalls at National College in Basavanagudi, from August 27 to September 6, 2025.
