USB scanners are simply not found if they use the eSCL scan protocol. A scanner problem has already been reported by a reader, but I have not yet been able to identify it. Here are the details on this issue. A reader reports on scanner problems Windows 11 24H2 was made available to interested users as a feature update on October 1, 2024 (see Windows 11 24H released (Oktober 1, 2024)). However, this release is currently annoying users with numerous bugs, some of which were already known at the time of release.
