Later, dark clouds started gathering resulting in heavy rain for nearly two hours.Alnavar, Kundgol and Kalghatgi too received heavy rain.Frequent lightning was seen. Heavy winds were blowing. Several trees and electric poles were uprooted. There was power outage across the district for some time.
