Your Google Docs comment threads just got a lot easier to manage
Google has introduced four new Gemini-powered features for Google Docs that streamline comment management. The tools can synthesize comment threads, add new comments, draft contextual replies, and suggest document edits based on feedback. The features are rolling out to eligible Workspace plans and should be fully available within about two weeks.

- ▪The features are enabled by default for admins with Gemini for Workspace in Drive and require smart features for editors.
- ▪Availability is limited to certain Business, Enterprise, Education, and AI subscription plans, with rollout expected within 15 days.
