Zhao lets early lead slip as Murphy fights back
Reigning world champion Zhao Xintong squandered a 3-0 lead as Shaun Murphy rallied to take a 5-3 advantage in their World Championship quarter-final's opening session. Zhao started strongly with a 122 break, but Murphy capitalized on errors to win four consecutive frames. Meanwhile, Barry Hawkins built a 5-3 lead over Mark Allen in their match, which also ended level after six frames. Both matches will resume Tuesday evening at the Crucible Theatre.
