Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should sue Mayor Mamdani for defamation (“Zo’s Threat to US Law,” Jeffrey Lax, PostOpinion, July 23). His claim that Netanyahu is a criminal is based on a declaration by a group not recognized by the United States. His constant public announcements calling Netanyahu a criminal amount to nothing but slander. In a time of rampant antisemitism, Mamdani’s rhetoric only exacerbates the situation.
