Politics news — chronological, not personalized

Live politics news drawn from a public catalog with 850+ hand-curated editorial feeds. Chronological, with no personalized ranking or WeSearch paywall.

Politics news from across the spectrum, aggregated chronologically. No engagement-maximizing model deciding what you see first.

Sources we pull from

WeSearch's editorial spine includes 850+ hand-curated RSS/Atom feeds across mainstream wires (AP, Reuters, BBC), domestic outlets (NYT, WaPo, Politico, NPR, Fox News, WSJ), and policy-focused publications (Foreign Affairs, The Hill, Politico Playbook). The wider discovery catalog is listed at /news-sources.

Why chronological beats ranked

Engagement-ranked feeds (Facebook, X, even some "news" apps) train you to react. Chronological feeds train you to scroll. Reading a chronological politics feed for 10 minutes gives you a different (more accurate) picture of the day than 10 minutes of ranked-feed scrolling.

No account or advertising profile required

Reading and discussion are pseudonymous by default, with no login wall. WeSearch uses limited operational analytics and server/CDN logs, but does not sell reader data, build retargeting audiences, or use activity to personalize the news ranking.

Frequently asked

Is WeSearch politically biased?

WeSearch aggregates across the political spectrum and computes a bias rating per source from a published methodology at /editorial-standards. We do not editorialize headlines or rank sources by political alignment.

How fresh is politics coverage?

Freshness depends on when each publisher updates its feed and when that feed is polled. Story pages show publisher timestamps and WeSearch discovery metadata where available.

Can I follow specific politics writers?

You can follow individual sources and tags. Per-writer follows depend on the source publishing per-writer feeds.

Does WeSearch personalize the feed?

No. The main feed uses publish-time ordering after deduplication rather than a per-reader engagement model. See /why-no-algorithm for the precise distinction.

Is WeSearch free?

Fully free. No paywall, no subscription, no premium tier. Community-funded via optional donations.
