Alabama cops plan extensive search of landfill for 2-year-old girl missing since Christmas
Police in Enterprise, Alabama are planning an extensive search of the Coffee County landfill for the remains of 2-year-old Genesis Reid, who is believed to have been killed by her mother on Christmas Day 2025. Her mother, Adrienne Reid, was arrested in March and charged with capital murder and abuse of a corpse after surveillance footage showed her disposing of a duffel bag suspected to contain the child's body. The search, expected to last up to nine weeks, will involve dozens of personnel and require the landfill to be closed to preserve the integrity of the operation.
