Alberta Insider: RCMP investigating separatist organization
The RCMP is investigating the Centurion Project, an Alberta separatist organization, after a court found it used the province's official voter list without authorization. Elections Alberta obtained an injunction halting the use of the database, which contained personal information of nearly 3 million residents. The data, allegedly obtained via the Republican Party of Alberta, was used in an app to support Alberta's independence movement ahead of a potential referendum.
