Following the recent release of the upstream Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.2 that brought new AI command line assistance and other package upgrade options, AlmaLinux 10.2 is now available as this RHEL-derived, community-driven downstream. Beyond incorporating the updates of RHEL 10.2, AlmaLinux 10 continues to differ from upstream RHEL 10 by offering Btrfs file-system support, x86_64-v2 builds for older hardware, and i686 user-space packages for supporting legacy 32-bit user-space software.
