Current PS Plus Subscribers Screwed Again by Days of Play Discounts
Sony has restricted its Days of Play discounts for PS Plus subscriptions to new and upgrading users only. Current subscribers cannot extend their memberships at the same tier to take advantage of the discounts. This policy has been in place for several years and follows recent price increases across all PS Plus tiers.
- ▪The Days of Play promotion offers discounts of up to 33% on 12-month PS Plus subscriptions.
- ▪The offer is available only to new members or those upgrading to a higher tier.
- ▪Current members cannot extend their existing subscriptions at the same tier to benefit from the discounts.

The platform holder has been doing this for a number of years now, and it never goes down well. From tomorrow, 27th May, the annual Days of Play promotion will discount 12-month subscriptions to PS Plus by as much as 33%. However, the offer only applies to entirely new PS Plus members or those looking to upgrade to a higher tier.
