The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Saturday (July 25) removed 347 encroachments from roads and footpaths across 14 identified stretches during its weekly ‘Walk Free’ enforcement drive, covering a total distance of 18.8 km.The civic body said the special drive was undertaken to reclaim public spaces, improve pedestrian accessibility and ensure safer, obstruction-free roads and footpaths across the Corporation’s jurisdiction.According to the CMC, the highest number of encroachments were cleared in the Quthbullapur Zone, where officials removed 167 encroachments along a seven-kilometre stretch.
