A cash transit vehicle driver was arrested by the Sultan Bazar police within 48 hours for allegedly fleeing with ₹9.63 lakh meant for deposit at a bank in Koti.The accused was identified as Shaik Rahman, 46, a driver residing at Hasmathpet in Bowenpally.According to the police, the incident took place on May 19 when cash custodians from Cleared Security Services Private Ltd (CSS), along with a gunman and driver, were transporting cash collections in a Toyota Innova Crysta vehicle bearing registration number TG 11 UC 0180.Police said the team collected cash from various business establishments, before reaching the SBI main branch at Bank Street in Koti at around 2.20 p.m.
