Eight NYPD officers were injured in a massive explosion while responding to a 911 call about a knife-wielding, intoxicated man at a Queens home. The explosion occurred as officers approached the residence, sending them flying and engulfing the house in flames. Police have not located the suspect, Amru Parsaram, who is believed to have brought gas cans to the scene.
