Fulleffort scratches from 2026 Kentucky Derby field, Ocelli enters
Fulleffort has been withdrawn from the 2026 Kentucky Derby after trainer Brad Cox discovered the horse was lame in his left hind leg during a jog, with an X-ray revealing a bone chip. Cox stated that Fulleffort will undergo minor surgery and miss the Triple Crown races, but is expected to recover well. With Fulleffort out, Ocelli, trained by Whit Beckman, has entered the Kentucky Derby field.
