Now, Google Wallet is adding digital ID support in India. Announced today, Google Wallet is bringing in support for Aadhaar Verifiable Credentials in India, a result of Google’s ongoing partnership with UIDAI. Beyond this expansion in India, Google is also making its latest passport expansion official. We spotted digital passport support for Brazil, Singaport, and Taiwan last week, and Google is now confirming that rollout. Those regions have also been added to a support page on the topic.
