How do you decide which Claude Code tasks to run with Opus vs Sonnet vs Haiku?

Been vibe coding full-time for a few months. One workflow question I haven't nailed down yet: how do you decide which model to use for which task in Claude Code? I know Opus is overkill for simple edits and Haiku is too weak for complex refactors — but in practice I end up just defaulting to whatever's set and never switching. Curious how others actually split this in their daily workflow: Do you have a rule of thumb for when to drop down to Sonnet/Haiku? Any way to see after the fact which task
