Nonna's House, a sandwich shop originally operating from the backyard garage of Hamish Vaccari's late nonna in Fitzroy North, has reopened in a new location less than a kilometre away after the family home was sold in late 2024. The new site on Nicholson Street, formerly a Malaysian restaurant, offers significantly more space and will introduce dine-in service and late-night trading. Despite the move, the business maintains its nostalgic Italian theme, featuring memorabilia from the original home and continuing its popular meatball subs.
