Jerry Amaldev to inaugurate creative collective

Music composer Jerry Amaldev will inaugurate Ima, a new collective that seeks to foster creativity through the convergence of art and faith, at Shanthi Nilayam in Thiruvalla on Friday.The inaugural function will be presided over by Geevarghese Mar Coorilos Metropolitan. The collective is led by Father Severios M. Thomas, a writer, singer and priest. Legislators Varghese Mamman and V.T. Balram, along with actors Abhilash Pillai, Kailash, John Jacob and Tosh Christy, are expected to attend the event.Ima will organise workshops and training programmes for students and young people in literature, the arts and creative expression, besides offering sessions on personality development, communication skills, public speaking and self-confidence.
