Jincy Roese’s overtime goal propels Frost over Victoire in playoff opener
Jincy Roese scored 4:30 into overtime to give the Minnesota Frost a 5-4 victory over the Montreal Victoire in Game 1 of their PWHL semi-final series. The win gives Minnesota a 1-0 series lead and takes home-ice advantage away from the regular-season champion Victoire. Seven of the game's nine goals were scored after the first period, including three goals within a 1:50 span in the third period.
