Josh Mauro, former Giants defensive end, dead at 35
Former NFL defensive end Josh Mauro, who played for the Cardinals, Giants, and Raiders over eight seasons, has died at the age of 35, his family announced. No cause of death was disclosed. Mauro, a Stanford graduate and undrafted free agent in 2014, played 80 games with 40 starts, recording 130 tackles and five sacks in his career. He spent the 2018 season with the New York Giants, appearing in 12 games after a four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
