Jury shown footage of alleged arson attacks on properties linked to Keir Starmer

Footage allegedly showing suspects lighting fires at properties linked to Sir Keir Starmer, have been shown to a jury. The attacks against properties linked to the prime minister were orchestrated by a Russian-speaking contact called “El Money” who promised payment in cryptocurrency, a court heard. Ukrainians Roman Lavrynovych, 22, Petro Pochynok, 35, and Romanian Stanislav Carpiuc, 27, are accused of plotting the fires on the orders of the Telegram contact. Video appears to show the fires being lit outside the north London properties, whilst CCTV footage also appears to show Lavrynovych in B&Q buying “accelearnt” to fuel the fires. The defendants are charged with conspiracy to damage property by fire between April 1 and May 13 last year. Lavrynovych, of Lewisham, south-east London, Carpiuc, from Romford, east London, and Pochynok, of Islington, north London, have pleaded not guilty. The trial continues.
