KSRTC to become more professional, says Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan

Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has said that June 15 will be a significant day in Kerala’s history with the State-level inauguration of the Priyadarshini scheme, which offers free travel for women and transgender persons in Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses across the State. The Chief Minister said that, along with making KSRTC more people-friendly, the scheme would mark the beginning of a major transformation.The district-level inauguration of the scheme will be held at 9 a.m. at the Ernakulam Boat Jetty Bus Stand. The event will be inaugurated by MP Hibi Eden.Mr. Satheesan also said that KSRTC would be steered forward in a professional manner based on proper studies.
