A luxury consignment store in Double Bay was targeted in an early morning ram raid, with thieves using a stolen Volkswagen to break in and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewellery, handbags, and shoes. The incident occurred at 4:30am on Thursday at PH Luxury Consignment on Transvaal Avenue, with the suspects fleeing in a stolen black Audi captured on security footage. Police established a crime scene, seized the ram vehicle for forensic analysis, and are still searching for the suspects and the getaway car.
