Microsoft and OpenAI Loosen Their Partnership
Microsoft and OpenAI have revised their partnership, ending Microsoft's exclusive licensing rights to OpenAI's technology while maintaining collaboration through 2032. The shift reflects OpenAI's push for greater independence as it competes in the fast-moving AI market. Both companies aim to maintain a strategic relationship amid increasing industry competition.
