A video reportedly captured Herrera shooting Flores, after which Flores's husband, Alejandro, questioned his mother about the killing. Erika Maria Herrera, 63, was cuffed in Venezuela on Wednesday in connection with the killing of her son’s wife, Carolina Flores, 27, following a two-week manhunt, Mexican outlet Blog del Narco reported. An Interpol red notice had earlier been issued for Herrera, after police named her as the lead suspect in the murder of Flores at her apartment in Mexico City’s wealthy Polanco neighborhood on April 15.
