Over 28,000 get allotment orders as part of Round 1 of TNEA counselling
The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) has given allotment orders to 28,550 candidates under Round 1 of counselling.Under this, 8,811 tentative allotment orders were given and 19,739 received provisional allotment orders. In the academic category, 8,016 tentative allotment orders were given and 17,034 candidates received provisional allotments. Further, under the 7.5% reservation for government students, 560 tentative allotment orders and 1,683 provisional allotment orders were also handed out.In the vocational category, 175 tentative allotment orders were given and 886 provisional allotments were made.
