A team from Bagalagunte Police Station sustained injuries while attempting to arrest a notorious rowdy-sheeter, who allegedly jumped from the first floor of an under-construction building in Soladevanahalli to evade arrest on Thursday.The accused, identified as Nagaraj, sustained serious injuries in the fall and has been admitted to hospital and is recovering.Police Sub-Inspector Pradeep Kumar C. stated in his complaint that he had recently taken charge as PSI at Bagalagunte Police Station and was investigating a case registered under the SC/ST Act and various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).As part of the investigation, the police were searching for the prime accused, Nagaraj, who was absconding.
