Santa Impersonator Among 19 Busted In Undercover Alleged Child Predator Sting, Police Say
A 68-year-old man known as a Santa Claus impersonator in Florida was among 19 individuals arrested in an undercover sting targeting alleged child predators. Thomas Hicks was charged with multiple offenses including human trafficking and attempting to meet a minor for sexual acts, after allegedly responding to a fake ad involving a teenage girl. The operation, conducted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, resulted in 85 felony and eight misdemeanor charges across all suspects.
