Shah in Ladakh to attend first-ever exposition of Buddha relics in India
Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Ladakh to attend the first-ever international exposition of Lord Buddha's sacred relics in India, coinciding with Buddha Purnima. The relics, known as the Piprahwa relics, were brought from Uttar Pradesh and will be displayed publicly across several locations in Ladakh before being returned to Delhi. Shah also plans to lay the foundation stone for a dairy plant in Kargil during his two-day visit.
