An unidentified man approached a 39-year-old straphanger on the northbound 6 train platform at the East 149 Street subway station just after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and threw him onto the train’s roadbed, according to the NYPD. He proceeded to viciously kick the male victim back down to the roadbed as he attempted to lift himself to the platform, cops added.
