Teacher who sent sexual messages to 13-year-old banned from profession
Liam Walker, a 31-year-old humanities teacher from Crewe, has been banned indefinitely from teaching after being found guilty of sending sexual messages to a 13-year-old student. He engaged with the child online using pseudonyms on Snapchat and a chatroom, continuing communication even after she disclosed her age. A Teaching Regulation Agency panel concluded that his actions constituted a serious breach of professional conduct and placed the child at risk of grooming.
