Nvidia's RTX 3060 is an old, out-of-date card, but it's made a comeback in 2026, and it holds up better than you might expect, according to VideoCardz.The RTX 3060 12GB was originally released over five years ago alongside iconic GPUs like the RTX 3080 and 3090. Where it was merely 5% faster than the 6600 in average games at 1080p in 2023, it's now more like 13% faster in an average suite of games at 1080p.When compared with the RX 7600, a card that was over 20% faster than the 3060 in 2023, the newer AMD card is now only 12% faster at 1080p. It's even more pronounced at 1440p, where the 2023 to 2026 performance gap falls from 17% to just 5%.
