Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan offers prayers at Tirumala temple
Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan visited the Tirumala temple to offer prayers. He was welcomed by various officials from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and received traditional honors. During his visit, he also prayed at the Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple and received sacred items from the chief priest.

The Vice-President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, on Tuesday offered prayers at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala.On his arrival at the temple Mahadwaram (main entrance), he was received by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B. R. Naidu, Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra, Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Muralikrishna, along with other officials of the TTD.He was accorded traditional Isthikaphal temple honours and escorted into the sanctum sanctorum, where he paid obeisances to the presiding deity. The chief priest presented him with the Sesha Vastram of the deity as a mark of reverence.At the Ranganayakula Mandapam, Vedic scholars rendered Vedasirvachanam, invoking divine blessings on him.
