DYFI activists court arrest after protest march
DYFI activists marched toward the office of District In-charge Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao in Padil and deliberately courted arrest on Tuesday. The protest was against a recent MOU allowing private medical institutions to provide clinical and diagnostic services at several government health centers. The demonstration targeted the collaboration between the Health Department and A.J. Institute of Medical Services, Alva’s Health Centre, and Yenepoya Medical College Hospital.
