Six Years Perfecting Maps on WatchOS
For over six years, the developer of Pedometer++ has worked to create the best possible mapping experience on watchOS, culminating in the release of Pedometer++ 8. Early versions relied on server-side map generation, which was impractical for real-time navigation, especially offline. A custom SwiftUI-native map rendering engine enabled on-device, interactive maps, leading to refined designs that prioritize usability on the small watch screen.
